Mark is eager and excited to have joined us here at Newcastle Sports Injury Clinic having previously worked for Healthshare Ltd and the Humber NHS Foundation Trust. Mark graduated from both Teesside University and Nottingham Trent University achieving BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and a combined study of Biology and Sports & Exercise Science respectively – which is where his passion for sports-related therapy stemmed.

When it comes to his appointments, patients can expect a 3-step procedure. Beginning with a full thorough examination, followed by a diagnosis, formed through sound clinical reasoning being identified and from that a series of evidence based and high-quality treatments are established. A continuous learner and always trying to further improve his treatments; Mark often attends several courses and has achieved various qualifications specifically around ‘shoulder’ issues as this is where he holds a particular interest.

Besides work, Mark is a very active person – regularly attending CrossFit 3-4 times a week and enjoying a round of golf or two as well as walking his dog.
