Ellie completed her BSc in Physiotherapy at the University of Birmingham and has since gained extensive clinical experience within the NHS, including rotations in Acute Medicine, Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Adult Neurology, Paediatric Neurosurgery, Community Rehabilitation, and Palliative Care. With a strong interest in neuroscience and musculoskeletal diseases, Ellie is dedicated to enhancing patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.
She holds an MSc in Clinical Neuroscience from King’s College London and is currently pursuing a PhD focused on improving Upper Limb Function after Stroke at Newcastle University. Previously, Ellie worked at Ocean Physio and Rehab Clinic in Devon, where she developed tailored treatment plans for diverse patient populations. During this time, she also collaborated with high-performance teams at the University of Exeter, providing triage, pitch-side support, and rehabilitation for athletes, with a strong emphasis on injury prevention and performance enhancement.
As a competitive netball player with national-level experience, having played for franchises such as Severn Stars and Wasps, Ellie is also a keen long-distance runner, having participated in the Amsterdam Marathon and planning to run in Paris next year. She integrates her athletic insights into her practice, effectively supporting clients in achieving their health and fitness goals.
